National Nurses Plus is dedicated to providing suitably qualified and experienced staff to our clients. We screen all staff at recruitment and each staff member undertakes various skills assessments based on their occupation. If we identify any skill gaps, or lack of sufficient experience, the prospective new employee may be offered further education to provide them with the skills required to perform their duties efficiently. National Nurses Plus has entered into an agreement with a reputable health care provider to comply with mandatory training requirements, and a range of additional educational topics.

Staff Training

To maintain our quality of service all National Nurses Plus staff members are required to undertake annual training including:

  • Manual Handling
  • Infection Control
  • OH & S
  • Fire Safety
  • Elder Abuse
  • Compulsory Reporting

Staff Appraisals

National Nurses Plus carries out annual staff appraisals on all staff to ensure that any skill gaps are identified and addressed appropriately. Our staff are invited, at any stage of their employment to discuss their education and career prospects with management, and we endeavor to facilitate any further training or career progression they may aspire to.
